DISCLAIMER:
MIKES RADIO SEVERE WEATHER UNIT
is not intended, in any way, to override the forecasts of the Storm Prediction
Center. Our forecasters do have a good knowledge of weather processes, and
anyone that uses our products should do so in conjunction with official SPC
outlooks and watches. We're kind of like the "second opinion", per se. All of us have the
utmost respect for the forecasters at SPC, and have no intent to undermine their
actions.
Our WATCHES and DISCUSSIONS are basically our way of advising you
of adverse weather that is expected to affect your county/area. These products are
carefully issued with our other forecasters on our site who also have a great deal of
weather knowledge. Using these products should also be done in conjunction with the
Storm Prediction Center's Watches and Discussions. We cannot always guarantee 100%
accuracy of our watches, discussions, and outlooks, but we always try our best. These
are put together with the knowledge at hand based on our set of weather models/radar/
satellite, etc. We do understand that adverse weather does not always setup properly, and
could result in mis-verification...that is why we **HIGHLY** suggest you use
their products
in concordance with the Storm Prediction Center and the National Weather Service.
**All Outlooks should be considered as experimental as
there are not enough forecasters at this time, and many time constraints. Outlooks will be
issued as time permits, especially with Severe Weather Outbreaks. All maps and
graphics are produced by GEMPAK!**
